Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Suds Laundry platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). "Suds Laundry," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Suds Laundry LLC, an Arizona limited liability company.

1. Platform Overview

Suds Laundry provides laundry pickup and delivery services across the Phoenix metro area. We employ our own W2 drivers and process laundry at our own Suds Laundromat facilities. We own the quality of every order end to end.

2. Account Registration

To use the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update your account information if it changes
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

3. Customer Terms

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions of items submitted for service, including any special care instructions
  • Make items available for pickup at the scheduled time and location
  • Pay all charges, including service fees and any applicable taxes
  • Inspect items upon delivery and report any issues within 48 hours
  • Not submit prohibited items including items contaminated with hazardous materials, items with significant biological waste, or items that are illegal to possess

4. Pricing, Payments, and Fees

Wash and fold pickup and delivery is priced at $2.25 per pound with a $35 minimum. Same-day rush service is $3.50 per pound. Pickup and delivery is free on orders $35 and over. All prices are in US dollars.

Payment is processed through Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the total order amount. Final charges may differ from estimates if the actual weight differs from the estimate.

Dry cleaning has a $50 minimum and 3 to 5 business day turnaround. New customers receive 20% off their first laundry order. The discount does not apply to dry cleaning.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

See our Refund Policy for full details. Generally:

  • Orders cancelled before pickup: full refund
  • Orders cancelled after pickup but before processing: partial refund minus pickup fee
  • Orders in progress or completed: subject to review on a case-by-case basis

6. Liability and Damage Claims

Our liability for damaged or lost items is limited to 10x the cleaning cost of the affected item, up to a maximum of $500 per order.

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. We will investigate all claims and work toward a fair resolution.

Suds Laundry is not responsible for: pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, damage caused by failure to disclose care instructions, or items of extraordinary value not declared at the time of pickup.

7. Subscriptions and Recurring Orders

Customers may set up recurring service subscriptions (weekly, biweekly, or monthly). Subscriptions automatically create orders on the scheduled date and charge your payment method on file.

You may pause, modify, or cancel a subscription at any time through your dashboard. Changes take effect on the next scheduled pickup. No refunds are issued for the current billing period.

8. Referral Program

Our referral program allows customers to earn credits by referring new users. Referral credits are applied to future orders and cannot be redeemed for cash. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time and to void credits obtained through fraudulent means.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Suds Laundry and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our written consent.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

For service-related disputes (damaged items, quality issues), please contact support first. We aim to resolve all service disputes within 5 business days.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suds Laundry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
